About This Course

This course will provide an overview of mental compulsions in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, highlighting the importance of identifying often-overlooked cognitions which contribute to perpetuating OCD. Clinicians will be given tools and strategies to help clients disengage from mental compulsions.

Ben Eckstein, LCSW is the owner and director of Bull City Anxiety & OCD Treatment Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is a therapist specializing in the treatment OCD, Anxiety, and OC-Related Disorders. In addition to his clinical work, been a speaker, trainer, and author of the book "Worrying is Optional". He is vice president of OCD North Carolina, the NC state affiliate of the International OCD Foundation.
