About This Course

Are you interested in learning how to effectively treat adult OCD in your practice? Not sure where to start? Then this workshop is for you. Within, we will dive into the nuts and bolts of great Exposure and Response Prevention treatment, from start to finish. Following best evidence based practices, you’ll learn how to initiate engagement in treatment, successfully create and navigate an exposure hierarchy, and even manage commonly experienced challenges during treatment. By the end of this workshop, you will have increased your knowledge and confidence for working with this unique population. 

This is a live, interactive webinar course that will take place on May 8, 2026 at 10am EST. It will be recorded for subsequent posting as a self-paced, on-demand course.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify three phases of ERP treatment and the correlated interventions within each phase.


  • Describe the treatment rationale for ERP as a means for enhancing patient engagement.


  • Design a versatile hierarchy using proper assessment strategies.


  • Explain the difference between habituation and inhibitory learning; and, describe how to navigate typical challenges encountered in ERP.

Jayme Jacobs, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Jacobs is a licensed psychologist and Clinical Director of CEH Princeton at The Center for Emotional Health. She joined CEH in 2011 after completing her doctorate at La Salle University. Currently, Dr. Jacobs serves as the clinical director and a postdoctoral supervisor at CEH's Princeton location. Dr. Jacobs has a passion for treating adult OCD, BFRBs, anxiety disorders, and Binge Eating Disorder. She also greatly enjoys implementing mindfulness-based interventions in her work. She holds current membership with the International OCD Foundation and has led several clinical workshops and support groups both locally and nationally. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, outdoor walks, baking, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
