About This Course

This is a live interactive webinar course that will take place on February 12, 2027 at 10am EST.

This presentation will review evidence-based interventions for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), with an emphasis on adaptations of standard cognitive-behavioral therapy for OCD to the treatment of this related obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorder.

A brief review of BDD’s clinical features and differential diagnosis will be provided. Key treatment components will include developing a shared case conceptualization, providing targeted psychoeducation to enhance treatment engagement, visual perceptual retraining, cognitive restructuring, and exposure and response prevention, along with an introduction to adjunctive strategies that may enhance treatment outcomes. Case examples and demonstrations of treatment techniques will illustrate the practical application of these interventions and address common clinical challenges.

Registration deadline: February 12, 2027, 9:30am
